Asking Price is $5,900. Doors, bumpers and correct gauges (not shown) are included. A fuel gauge hole was cut in the dash, but the rest is stock. A lot of the photos are close up so you can see where there are and aren’t problems.
We’ll have close to 30 cars for sale at our Open House on June 3rd and 4th, the Monday and Tuesday between Bug In and El Prado. It is best to come see these cars in person. Most of these are solid projects, a couple are less solid. A few will fire up. Most have paperwork, but a couple don’t (though we’re still looking). There’s a few different Westy’s, a few Karmann Ghia convertibles, a Lowlight Ghia Coupe, two Type 34’s… Come check them out!
Some were bought as parts cars through local classifieds or through the grapevine, but they were too nice to cut up. Some are parts cars. Some were brought with the intent of restoring, most of them years ago. We’ve pulled cars from this group for in-house projects, like the KGPR logo Karmann Ghia, the 2332 Super Beetle Cabriolet we drove on Treffen a few years back, Murphy, the 71 Bay Window, and a few others, and we’ve sold a few here and there. Should have kept that ’71 Bay Double Door Panel, wherever you are!
Come out to Open House June 3rd and 4th with a trailer. We can also store them short term, or assist in getting them shipped pretty much anywhere.
We’ll post more photos of each over the next few days, so if you see one you’re interested in, check back, but again, it’s best to come see them in person at the Airhead Parts/KGPR Open House, 9am-4pm, June 3rd &4th.
Serious buyers can email scott@airheadparts with “CARS FOR SALE” in the subject line, or call him directly at 805-850-8135 between 7-10am 5-7pm an(PST). Other times of day, please use email or text.
BONUS*** Anyone that purchases one of these cars will get a wholesale account on our website, allowing you to log in online and buy parts at the wholesale discount price (what a repair shop would pay) for 12 months.
See you at Open House!
