1965-66 Karmann Ghia coupes and convertibles used this mirror. 1967 Karmann Ghias had the same chrome base/stem, but with a black plastic mirror. Convertible Beetles used the same base/stem, but with a smaller oval shaped mirror. While correct for 1965-66 Ghias, this mirror also fits perfectly in 1967 Ghias and in 1965-67 convertible Beetles.
This is a faithful copy of an NOS example with the correct length mirror stem and will interchange with original VW Dome Light parts. We also make the dome light, available (HERE).
We used to refurbish original mirrors but good cores have dried up. Our solution was to create a high quality reproduction with a high end finish. The mirror action is smooth and firm.
